Design Concepts
We gutted our bathroom and refinished it top to bottom. I had frustrations with the layout and Kiona worked up 4 designs after hearing my frustrations. Ultimately, we left most of the layout the same as I realized I was trading fixes for other problems. However, one of my biggest concerns was squaring out these oddly angled walk in closets that made one entire wall in each almost useless. I had a contractor tell me it shouldn’t be changed because the original architect usually knows best. Seeing it drawn out made a huge difference. I realized the space was big enough to handle the change and I gained to real walk-in closets. It truly solved a problem if lived with for 7 years. Because of he...

My backyard was in disarray but I could tell there was potential. KL Design completely transformed the yard, and made it a favorite family hang out space. Kiona is patient, detail oriented, extremely knowledge and helps to create a shared vision of how to design any aspect of a home. Couldn’t be more pleased!!

We used it as a group of 9 women in a Sister Circle, and it truly supported us in outlining our goals, reflecting on challenges and wins, and developing a clear vision for how to meet our short and long term objectives.
